Lifeline is a composition for Trombone, electronic sound and video graphics. The video graphics are generated in real-time and continuously manipulated using control data taken from the trombonist’s variations in timbre and dynamic. The video graphics are generated in MAX and make use of OpenGL. The piece was premiered in Liverpool at the Open Circuit Festival 2016. A future performance is scheduled for spring 2017 at the Prague Conservatory of Music.
